What is an Issue?
An issue is a problem, bug, or enhancement request that you want to report or track. It can be anything from a simple typo in the documentation to a major bug that affects the functionality of the software.
Creating an Issue
To create an issue, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Issues page.
- Click on the "New Issue" button.
- Fill in the required fields, such as the issue title and description.
- Optionally, add labels and assignees to the issue.
- Click "Submit" to create the issue.
Adding Labels and Assignees
Labels help categorize and prioritize issues. Assignees are responsible for resolving the issue. To add labels and assignees:
- Click on the "Labels" field and select the relevant labels.
- Click on the "Assignees" field and select the team member responsible for resolving the issue.
Tracking the Issue
Once you've created an issue, you can track its progress by:
- Navigating to the issue's page.
- Checking the status of the issue.
