Conditional sentences explore hypothetical situations. They often use if clauses with specific verb tenses:

  • Zero Conditional: If you heat ice, it melts 🌀
  • First Conditional: If it rains, we'll stay home
  • Second Conditional: If I were rich, I would travel the world 🌍
  • Third Conditional: If she had studied, she would have passed 📚
