Borrowing policies are designed to ensure that library resources are available to as many patrons as possible while maintaining the integrity of the collection. Below are the key points regarding borrowing at our library.

Eligibility

  • Patrons must be at least 18 years old or have a parent/guardian co-sign the borrowing agreement.
  • A valid library card is required to borrow materials.

Borrowing Limits

  • Books: Up to 20 items can be borrowed at a time.
  • CDs/DVDs: Up to 10 items can be borrowed at a time.
  • Magazines/Periodicals: Up to 5 items can be borrowed at a time.

Loan Periods

  • Books: 30 days
  • CDs/DVDs: 14 days
  • Magazines/Periodicals: 7 days

Renewals

Items can be renewed twice, as long as there are no holds on the item.

Fines

  • Books: 0.20 per day
  • CDs/DVDs: 0.50 per day
  • Magazines/Periodicals: 1.00 per day

Lost Items

If an item is lost or damaged, the patron is responsible for replacing it.
