The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service is a collaborative effort among libraries to provide access to resources that are not available in their own collections. This service is designed to support research and learning by allowing users to borrow materials from other libraries.

How It Works

  1. Search for Materials: Users can search for books, journal articles, and other resources that are not available in our library's collection.
  2. Request the Material: Once a user finds a suitable item, they can request it through our online form.
  3. Borrowing Period: The borrowing period for ILL items varies depending on the lending library's policies. Users will be notified when the item is ready for pickup.
  4. Renewal: Users may be able to renew ILL items if there are no holds on the item and if the lending library allows renewals.

Eligibility

All current students, faculty, and staff are eligible to use the Interlibrary Loan service.

Fees and Limits

There is no charge for borrowing ILL items, but there may be a fee for overdue items. Users are limited to a certain number of active ILL requests at any given time.
