Common Grammar Errors to Avoid

  1. Subject-Verb Agreement
📌 Ensure the verb matches the subject in number (singular/plural).
"The team are winning" (error: "team" is singular)
    "The team is winning"

  2. Misplaced Modifiers
📌 Place descriptive phrases close to the words they modify.
"The dog chased the ball with a happy tail"
"The dog with a happy tail chased the ball"

  3. Comma Splice
📌 Use a period or semicolon to separate independent clauses.
"I went to the store, I bought milk"
"I went to the store. I bought milk."
