Nouns

Verbs

Sentence Structure

A sentence typically consists of a subject and a predicate. The subject is what the sentence is about, and the predicate tells something about the subject.

  • Compound Sentence: Contains at least two independent clauses. (e.g., I love reading books, and I also enjoy writing stories.)
  • Complex Sentence: Contains one independent clause and one or more dependent clauses. (e.g., Although it was raining, I still went for a walk.)
