Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring two verification methods. Here's how to enable and use 2FA:

  1. Enable 2FA

    • Navigate to your account settings and locate the Security Center section.
    • Toggle on Two-Factor Authentication and select your preferred method (e.g., SMS, Authenticator App).

  2. Set Up Verification Method

    • For Authenticator App (e.g., Google Authenticator):
      • Scan the QR code with your app to link it to your account.
      • Note the 6-digit code generated by the app and enter it on the verification page.
    • For SMS:
      • Enter your phone number and confirm the One-Time Password (OTP) sent via text.

  3. Backup Codes

    • Download and save backup codes provided during setup. These are critical if you lose access to your primary verification method.
    • Store them securely, such as in a password manager or physical safe.
