Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your account. It requires not only a password and username but also something that only you have on you, like a mobile phone.
How it Works
- Step 1: After entering your username and password, you will be prompted for a second form of verification.
- Step 2: This second factor is typically a one-time passcode sent to your registered mobile phone.
- Step 3: Enter the passcode to complete the authentication process.
Benefits
- Increased Security: Even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without the second factor.
- Prevents Phishing: 2FA makes it harder for attackers to gain access to your account through phishing attacks.
How to Set Up
- Go to your account settings and navigate to the 2FA section.
